Do I need a cable?

No. FrankenScreen is designed to work over Wi-Fi or a cable, and switch to a cable automatically when available.

Which iMacs and macOS versions are supported?

The compatibility list is still being validated. Confirmed models and minimum macOS versions will be published before downloads open.

Is it available to download?

Not yet. The teaser and waitlist come first; public release follows compatibility checks, signing, notarization and beta testing.
